A large quantity of high quality Homeware and Interior Items including Four Poster Beds, Art and Ornaments, Garden Furniture White Goods and Appliances from Turville Grange, the Country Estate of the Late Mrs Henry T Ford II. Wincanton Auctions are delighted to have been instructed to assist with the sale of the contents of the estate in Association with Dore & Rees. 24th and 25th April 2024.
Wincanton Auctions are delighted to have been instructed to assist with the sale of the contents of Turville Grange, the property of Henry Ford II and his wife Kathleen DuRoss Ford in Henley-on-Thames and formerly Princess Lee Radziwill, sister of First Lady Jackie Kennedy in Association with Dore & Rees. 24th and 25th April 2024.
The contents of the estate also includes an Edwardian Villa known as The White House, named in honour of President Kennedy and his wife Jackie who stayed there frequently and additional cottages, swimming pool and gym complex, stable block and extensive storerooms and garages.
Royalty have been regular guests of the estate including King George V whose younger sister Princess Victoria, etched the dates 1915, 1917 and 1918 into a first- floor window with a diamond ring and many film stars including Sean Connery, Peter Seller's and Michael Caine.
The sale will feature a large quantity of high quality Homeware and Interior Items including Four Poster Beds, Art, Ornaments and Garden Furniture as well as White Goods and Appliances.
