Vintage Tradesman’s Butcher’s Delivery Bicycle with Basket
A vintage tradesman’s delivery bicycle, formerly used by J.O. Thomas, Butcher, Maesteg (Est. 1910), complete with large wicker front basket and period painted shop sign panel.
The bicycle of traditional gents’ frame with rear carrier, front-mounted metal basket frame housing a wicker basket, and leather saddle (marked “Dunlop”). Finished in black with visible age-related wear throughout. The painted wooden shop advertising board is included with the lot.
Showing surface rust, paint loss, wear to tyres and chain, and general age-related condition consistent with long-term storage. Restoration required. Untested and sold as a display/restoration piece.
